As we move further into Q4, Mantle is setting the stage for an action-packed year-end filled with rewarding campaigns and exciting integrations. October laid the groundwork with a host of new developments across the ecosystem, making it more important than ever to stay up-to-date with the latest from Mantle. Here’s a look back at what October delivered, just in case you missed anything.

Season 2: Methamorphosis Begins — Keep COOK'in with $mETH and $cmETH

With $cmETH, users can earn staking yields, gain yields from various restaking protocols through risk-adjusted vault strategies, collect Powder for $COOK rewards in Season 2: Methamorphosis, and still have the flexibility to use it across DeFi integrations for even greater rewards.

Season 2 kicked off on Oct. 30, 2024, and is set to last for 110 days. Although $cmETH holdings will be central to Season 2, both $mETH and $cmETH will initially be rewarded with Powder, allowing users extra time to transition from $mETH to $cmETH without missing out on early rewards. Like Season 1, Season 2: Methamorphosis also includes a referral program, allowing users to earn additional Powder by referring users and boosting their total $COOK rewards.

Since the approval of MIP-30 and the commencement of mETH Protocol's next growth phase, we've been moving steadily toward the $COOK TGE, and we're stoked to say it's finally here. With $COOK, holders can now play a vital role in shaping mETH Protocol's strategic direction and decision-making processes.

After months of initiatives related to Season 1: Methamorphosis and the $COOK pool on Mantle Rewards Station, participants can finally get their well-deserved $COOK. Users can now track and claim their $COOK rewards accrued from Powder through eligible $mETH positions, participation in the Stash campaign, and completion of the Journey to Methamorphosis Quests on the official Season 1: Methamorphosis campaign page.

Those who locked $MNT on Mantle Rewards Station and allocated MNT Power (MP) to the Season 1: Methamorphosis $COOK pool can claim rewards by visiting the $COOK pool on Mantle Rewards Station. For further details on the claiming process, please visit here.

For all other $COOK initiatives in Season 1: Methamorphosis including Puff, Bybit, Bybit Web3 Wallet, and Binance Web3 Wallet, rewards will be released according to each platform's schedule. Please follow their channels for further updates.

Claim Your EIGEN: Over 2.1 Million Tokens Distributed

Thanks to Mantle Treasury's restaking of 100K $mETH on EigenLayer, we've been able to reward the community for supporting $mETH and contributing to the success of mETH Protocol by passing on EIGEN rewards to $mETH L2 holders. Additional bonus points were also allocated to positions in Pendle's USDe pools, allowing users to enjoy higher yields across multiple protocols while maintaining exposure to EIGEN.

Eligible $mETH holders can now claim their EIGEN tokens. The rewards are distributed across three categories:

• Phase 1 Rewards:
  • Eligable $mETH positions on Mantle L2 between Feb. 9 – March 15, 2024
  • 1,077,480.69 EIGEN Distributed
• Phase 2 Rewards:

Agora’s Next-Gen Stablecoin Comes to Mantle — Meet AUSD

October marked a significant moment for Mantle Ecosystem with the integration of Agora's U.S. dollar stablecoin, AUSD. As Agora’s first deployment on an ETH layer 2, AUSD brings a fully backed, institutional-grade stablecoin directly to Mantle Network, enhancing security and reliability across our ecosystem. Backed by cash, U.S. Treasury bills, and overnight repo agreements, AUSD represents a new era in stablecoins — addressing limitations of traditional bridged stablecoins like time locks and capital inefficiencies.

At launch, AUSD will be supported on Mantle decentralized exchanges (DEXs) such as Merchant Moe, with liquidity pairs against Mantle native assets $mETH, $cmETH, $FBTC, and other stablecoins. With AUSD powering a broad range of financial and consumer applications, we’re excited to see the new opportunities this brings for Mantle’s users and the wider ecosystem.

After a jam-packed September of events, Mantle has kept the momentum going as the team headed to Dubai.
